Who we are
Mapzu is an online service provided by [legal name to be completed], located at [address to be completed], Argentina ("Mapzu", "we").
These terms govern the use of the Mapzu website and app. If you don't agree with them, don't use the service.
The service
Mapzu lets you build a map of your business with blocks, calculated fields, connections, alerts and artificial intelligence features.
We may improve, change or stop offering features. If a change affects you significantly, we'll let you know reasonably in advance.
Your account and your business
To use Mapzu you need an account with a valid email. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account.
Whoever creates a business is its owner: they can invite up to 5 members, manage the plan and delete maps. Members edit maps and add records, but don't see billing.
Free trial, price and payments
Every new business gets a 14-day free trial, no card needed. After that, the plan costs US$ 10 a month per business, plus any taxes that apply in your country.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes payments, issues receipts and handles billing and refund inquiries.
The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it. If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance and the change applies from the next renewal.
Cancellation, non-payment and your data
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Plan. You keep using Mapzu until the end of the paid period.
If a payment fails, Paddle retries it. If 10 days pass without payment, or the trial ends without a subscription, the business becomes read-only: you can view and export your maps, but not edit them or use AI.
After you cancel we keep your data for 90 days, in case you come back. After that we may delete it permanently.
Acceptable use
Don't use Mapzu for illegal activities, to upload other people's content without permission, to try to access other businesses' data or to deliberately overload the service.
If you break these rules, we may suspend your account. Except in serious or urgent cases, we'll warn you first.
Your data
The data you add is yours. We use it only to provide the service, and you can export it whenever you want.
Your data is stored with access restricted per business. We use infrastructure and artificial intelligence providers that process it on our behalf and don't use it to train their models. Your contacts' phone numbers, emails and addresses are never sent to the AI.
Artificial intelligence
AI features propose maps, answers and data entries. They can be wrong: review what they propose before accepting it. Nothing is saved without your confirmation.
Each business has a monthly AI allowance included in the plan. When it runs out, AI pauses until next month and the rest of the service keeps working.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Mapzu available and error-free, but we can't guarantee it. The decisions you make with the numbers on your map are yours.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits the rights your country's consumer protection law gives you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll publish the new version here and, if the change is significant, email you at least 15 days before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic [to be confirmed with a lawyer]. If you're a consumer, the rules of your country of residence also protect you.
